I grew up in the Bronx and went to school there. I teach 1 to 4 year olds. I love teaching here at Beanstalk Academy becuse it brings me so much joy!

My name is Evelyn Gregory. I am from the Bronx. I went to Dewitt Clinton high school. I am currently in school for my BA in early childhood education administration at Ashford University. I love working with children because I love the challenge. I love molding and watching them grow. I feel like teaching children was what I was meant to do.

My Name is Maya Browne. I was raised in the island of Antigua. I attended the Antigua girls high school, Bronx Community College, and Lehman College. I love to teach because it gives me the ability to be creative and to impact the lives of many children. I also enjoy seeing the children mature and learn new things.

My name is Neelawatee Dolcharran. I grew up in Guyana, where I went to school, started my career as a teacher and also went to Cyill Potter College of Education. I did my GED in New York City. I am currently pursuing my my associates degree in early childhood education. I love teaching because I love children. I feel happy when a child learns what he or she was suppose to. I also love teaching because there is excitement , joy and suspense in this journey.

My name is Yanika Gaton. I grew up in the Bronx, New York City, where I went to school and achieved my Associates Degree at Hostos Community College as an Early Childhood teacher and I’m currently working on my Bachelor degree in Lehman College. I Love teaching because as a teacher I am not only someone who teaches, I love to play the most important role in the development of any student and I feel that it tis an honor to be that person. Because as a teacher you’re giving a lasting legacy on the world by providing love and support to children.

Im Tonya Waring, Lead teacher in the infant room 104. I graduated Hostos Community college here I received my associate degree in early child education. City College is where I was working towards my bachelors degree in education.

I have a personal interest and a passion for helping young children, watching them learn and achieve. I am dedicated to say the least. I spend my own limited resources to innovate curriculum, and to everything I cn to make sure my classroom is safe and welcoming for children. I teach them and I witness every step of their growth. They aren’t my flesh and blood but I love them just the same. Its rewarding to me because I get to witness so many “firsts”. This is why I love teaching
